She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Willie" Johnson and Nealy Spurlin Johnson; her daughter April Lykins; her great grandchild Evelynn Paige Coleman; and her siblings, Kenneth, Robert, Lewis Johnson, Lillian Keatts, Sara Oliver, Kathleen Fletcher, Eunice Ewing, Lola Dawson, Betty Hamby, Ann Johnson, Violet Johnson, Clara Wells and Neavlean Taylor.
She is survived by: her son Nelson Clay Bodes (Wendy) of Elkton; and her brother Floyd Johnson of Dixon, Missouri. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Todd County Funeral Home & Cremation Services (720 W Main St, Elkton, KY 42220). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at the Glenwood Cemetery.
