Eugene touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jacob, Katie Reiff, Aaron and Lydia Hoover; and his sister Rachel Ann Hoover.
He is survived by: his parents, John Hoover and Esther Reiff Hoover of Elkton, KY; and his siblings, Jacob Hoover (Katie Mae) of Elkton, Lucy Hoover, Rebecca Hoover (Lester) of Hopkinsville, KY and Anna Martin (Benjamin) of Elkton, KY. He is also survived by 10 nephews and nieces and numerous aunts and uncles.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoover Family Residence (7438 Highway 68 West, Elkton, KY 42220). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Pembroke Mennonite Church (2229 Roger Q Mill Rd, Pembroke, KY 42266).
