He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Waggoner and Nora Belle Pulley Waggoner; his son Mike Waggoner; and his brother Jeff Waggoner. He is survived by: his wife Judy Waggoner of Elkton; his siblings, David Waggoner of Hopkinsville, Melvin "Darrell" Waggoner of Elkton, Clay Waggoner of Russellville, Faye Brown of Elkton, Sandy Ing of Clarksville and Nena Francis of Elkton; and his grandson Brent Waggoner of Elkton.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Glenwood Cemetery.
