He was predeceased by : his parents, William Rogers "Rube" Turner and Emma Jean Diel Turner; and his daughter Katherine Denise Turner. He is survived by : his wife Paula Wright Turner of Elkton, KY; his children, Samuel Dennis Turner Jr. of Bon Aqua, TN, Lisa Diane Turner Embry (Brian) of Grand Junction, CO, Keri Turner of Chattanooga, TN and Laura Young of Williamsport, PA; his siblings, James Rogers Turner (Linda) of Plano, TX, Billy Ray Turner (Linda) of Trenton, KY, Gifford Wade Turner (Teresa) of Eddyville, KY, Alberta Ann Washer (Gene) of Clarksville, TN and Betty Smith (Kerry) of Palmyra, TN; and his uncle D. T. Turner (Mary) of Elkton, KY. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
