Sandra Mauk Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Mauk (Elkton, Kentucky), born in Bakersfield, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. MacGillivray and Viola B. MacGillivray; her husband Wallace Mauk; and her brothers, Allan MacGillivray and Keith MacGillivray.

She is survived by: her sons, Kelvin Mauk (Charlotte) of Ashland and Kenneth Mauk (Chad) of Houston, Texas; her sister Rhonda Brady of Tehachapi, California; her grandsons, Logan Mauk (Breanne) and Levi Mauk; and her pet Lilly. She is also survived by numerous extended family, chosen family, and close friends.

It was Sandra's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations in her name to the Airedale Terrier Rescue Association (http://www.aire-rescue.org (http://www.aire-rescue.org).

“Dear Sandra's family, Jan 1971 Wally delivered the Laflamme's to El Cisne Hotel. Sandra gifted me roll of U.S. toilet paper. Over the years we visited in Bowling Green, Elkton, Glendale AZ, and Eastland, TX. Lots of good memories and times. Wanted to post pic of Sandra watching Wally & Dave harmonizing with Airedales, and also a 1971 pic of ZAB driveway: Jasper, Kelvin & my dau. I'm so proud of Sandra for the wonderful and active life she lived. Love to Sandra and Wally always; I miss them.SL”
