He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Waymeyer and Hilda Waymeyer; and his brothers, Rob and Bud. He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, Steve (Vickie), Andy (Lisa) and Wray (Troy); his grandchildren, Stephanie (Steven), Michael (Sherry), Danielle (Nick), Jordan (Amy), Chelsea and Craig (Kayla); and his siblings, Loraine Phelps, Rosemary Schepker and James Waymeyer (Betty Lou).
