He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Elizabeth Nelson and William Horton; and his sisters, Grace Ann Eichelberger and Betty Jean Schulz. He is survived by: his wife Lila "Myrt" Horton; his son Woodrow "Woody" Horton (Gena); his grandson William; his brother James "Jim" Horton; and his nieces and nephews, Louis Green, Wally Thompson, Eddie Thompson, Teresa Robinson and Jennie Thompson.
