With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Chauncey Goldizen Jr. (Elsmere, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2025 at the age of 84. Though John Chauncey may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Chauncey touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John C Goldizen Sr. and Mary Goldizen of St Joseph, Missouri.; and his former wife Patricia A Goldizen. He is survived by: his brother Shorty; his girlfriend Patricia Rodgers; and his children, Jay, Goldizen III (Margret Goldizen) of Kansas, Scott A Goldizen (Cindy Goldizen), Alvin Keith Goldizen (Linda Goldizen) of Richwood, Ky Larry A Goldizen of Florence and Tina Goldizen of Ft Worth.
