She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Pryce Hampton; and her parents, Walter F. Michael, Jr. and Martha (Harrison). She is survived by: her sons, David Hampton (Melanie) and Jeffrey Hampton (Donna); her grandchildren, Ashley, Aaron, Cole, Elise, Hope, Julia and Allie; her brother Walter "Skip" Michael III (Edwina); and her friend Tom Flynn.
