The family announces the passing of Catherine Ursula (Cartwright) Adams of Eminence, Kentucky on August 22, 2026. Catherine, born on July 28, 1936, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleatis Cartwright and Helen Cartwright (Grimes); her husband Maurice Allen Adams; and her grandson Jonathan Carroll Adams. She is survived by: her sons, Bernard Cleatis "Buster" Adams (Karen) of Franklinton, Timothy Allen Adams (Lisa) of Eminence and Anthony Maurice Adams (Marcia) of Eminence; her grandchildren, Dustin Adams, K. C. Adams (Ashley), Stephanie Michele Lokits (Chris), Jessica Danielle Adams and Todd Adams (Hope); her great grandchildren, Caitlyn Louise Lokits, Zachary Allen Lokits, Abby Adams, Hunter Adams and Caroline Adams; her sister Christine Pollard; and her nephew Timothy Dean Pollard (Carla).
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Eminence Christian Church (5333 S Main St, Eminence, KY 40019). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Interment: Eminence Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Eminence Christian Church Scholarship Fund (in memory of her late grandson, Jonathan Carroll Adams).
