He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lyons of Eminence; his daughter Sydney Danielle Thurman (Jeremy) of Point Pleasant; his stepmother Shirley Lyons of New Castle; his siblings, Glenda Wilhoite of Lockport, Randy Lyons (Judy) of Point Pleasant, Tommy Lyons (Melody) of Bethlehem, Stevie Lyons of Shelbyville, Danny Ray Lyons (Jill) of Lancaster and Doug Lyons of Carrollton; and his granddaughter Dylanie Grace Thurman.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home (5901 S Main St, Eminence, KY 40019). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
