She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin, Sr. Downey and Ida Downey (Moppins); and her daughter Vickie Sue Lara (Stodghill). She is survived by: her son Donnie Ray Stodghill. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren and several siblings.
