He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hargis and Mildred Hargis; his former wife Flora "Dody" Hargis Morgan (Harlene H. Hargis); and his siblings, Merle Hargis, Etta Miller and Drucilla Hargis.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Hargis (Cindy), Robin Chisnhall, Jimmy Hargis and Holly Ann Hargis; and his grandchildren, James, Angela, Joshua, Jacob, Damon, Jeremy, Michael, Natasha, Jason and Dakota. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.
