He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sheets and Adelle Sheets (Cooper); and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Hanneken); his children, Stephanie Donoghue (Sean), Rachael Perdue (Bryan) and David Sheets (Brandy); his grandchildren, Jamie, Laney, Rylan, Hudson, Marley and Mason; his siblings, Tim Sheets, Kathy Weber (Mike), Julie Sheets and Barb Schultz (Ben); and his sister-in-law Vickie Sheets. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Linnemann Funeral Home (30 Commonwealth Ave, Erlanger, KY 41018). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the St. Mary Cemetery (2201 Dixie Hwy, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (1839 Euclid Avenue, Covington, KY 41014).
