It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Roger Niceley (Erlanger, Kentucky), born in Mount Vernon, Kentucky, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Niceley; and his brothers, Lawrence, Lowell and Ted Niceley. He is survived by: his children, Diana Niceley, Steve Niceley and Jeff Niceley (Karen); his grandsons, Bryan Botts (Heather) and Austin Vonderahe; his great grandchild Addison Botts; and his sisters-in-law, Anne Niceley and Carole Niceley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's name are recommended to Shriner's Hospital (https://donate.shrinerschildrens.org) of Dayton and the Children's Home of Northern Kentucky.
