She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schroth and Agnes Schroth; her children, Andrea Sipple and Michael Halenkamp; her grandson Nolan Halenkamp; her son-in-law Scott Sipple; and her sister Susan Jacobs.
She is survived by: her husband John Hicks; her children, Maria Halenkamp and Nathan Halenkamp (Laura); her daughter-in-law Erin Halenkamp; her stepchildren, Chris Hicks, Johnny Hicks (Jenelle) and Angie Herolaga (Wayne); her grandchildren, Mark Sipple, Summer Schwab, Meadow Schwab, Andrew Sipple, Zander Schwab, Willow Schwab, Emery Halenkamp, Elliott Halenkamp, Addison Halenkamp, Andre Reehill, Everett Halenkamp, Lynnie Halenkamp, Nick Brumback, Bryson Hicks, Maddie Hicks, Averi Hicks, Emma Hicks, Landen Herolaga and Vivian Herolaga; and her siblings, Connie Drews (Gary), Karen Washburn, Peggy Graue (Rick), Theresa Cason (Don), Mary Jo Duffy (Tim) and Michael Schroth (Sue). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Linnemann Funeral Home (30 Commonwealth Ave, Erlanger, KY 41018). A Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (7301 Dixie Hwy, Florence, KY 41042). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (3227 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Nancy's honor to The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute at The Ohio State University or St. Elizabeth Hospice.
