He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry DeBruyn and Maria DeBruyn; his wife Jacqueline DeBruyn; his son-in-law Tim Inabnit; and his siblings-in-law, Shahana DeBruyn and Jerry Hoobler.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff DeBruyn, Sonya Inabnit, Robin DeBruyn and Sharon Bailey; his grandchildren, Brittney, Beau Inabnit (Ashley), Daylan, Tanner Bailey, Jessica DeBruyn, Amber Ashcraft (Cody), Rachael Wagner (Billy), Angela DeBruyn and James Loveless; his siblings, Harry DeBruyn (Diana), Gert Rouse (David), Elizabeth "Liz" Bailey (Charlie) and John DeBruyn; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Hoobler and Daryl McCall (Marilyn). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer's research or the American Cancer Society.
