It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lera Maye Kingrey of Etoile, Kentucky, who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis Perkins and Katie Matthews Perkins; her husband Floyd Kingrey; her son Danny Kingrey; and her siblings, Hershel Perkins, Wanita Carter, Lucille Dyer, Ormal Perkins, Nina Corder, Imo Baumgardner, Rosemary McCoy and Tommy Perkins.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Kingrey (Lisa) and Vicki Ballard (Todd); her grandchildren, Nick Kingrey (Canzada), Sydney Jones (Isaac) and Maylyn Ballard; her great grandchildren, Clayton Kingrey and Copen Jones; and her sister Beth Perkins Harper. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
