He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Gibson and Martha Gibson (Abbott); his brothers, Stanley Gibson, Johnny Gibson and Kenneth Gibson; his brother-in-law Herman Aubrey; and his pet Rascal.
He is survived by: his sons, Shannon Gibson (Cherel), Tony Gibson (Loretta) and Steven Gibson; his grandson Brennon Gibson; and his sisters, Linda Aubrey, Shirl Wolf (Bill) and Carolyn Watson. He is also survived by special friends, The Denmyers; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home (5900 US-27, Science Hill, KY 42553). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
