As David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his stepfather Ted Durham; and his grandparents, Bee, Lola McCollum, Elmer and Dahlia Sparks.
He is survived by: his parent Edna McCollum Durham of Eubank; his daughter Samantha Jolene Smith of Richmond; his brothers, Doyle Wayne Sparks (Lori) and Dorian Sparks of Mt. Vernon; and his wife Maryann of Derby England.
