He is survived by: his wife Eva Joan Whitaker; his daughter Sandra Miller (Chris) of Harrison, OH.; his brothers, Reed Whitaker (Mary) of Eubank and Jim Whitaker (Karen) of Eubank; his grandchildren, Scott Brown (Katie) of Harrison, OH, Tracy Dababseh (Jalal) of Westerville, OH and Bryce Miller of Harrison, OH.; and his great grandchildren, Emilie, Aiden Ball, Everly Brown, Sara, Reema, Saleem, Yafa Dababseh and Isaiah Brown. He is also survived by one great-great grandchild, and a host of other family members and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bro. Jeff Griffin and Bro. Jason Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Gideon Memorial Bible Fund.
