He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer C. Ping and Clarice B. Adams Ping; his son Ronald Bruce Ping; his siblings, Gary Ping and Janice; and his sister-in-law Pam Ping.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Phelps Ping; his children, Brian Ping (Kacey) of Somerset and Sherri Craig (Brian) of Versailles; his siblings, Brent Ping (Jean) of Monticello, Danny Ping of Eubank and Patsy Morrow (Porter) of Burnside; his sister-in-law Kathy Ping of Eubank; his grandchildren, Sarah Duhon (Lois), Rebecca Zimmerman (Jay), Aystin Ping, Conner Ping, Grace Craig, Lexi Ping and Levi Ping; and his great grandchildren, Anthony and Ryker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family askes that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Americian Legion Post #38.
