She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Tomlinson; her parents, Hubert Shoemaker and Lavinia Pace Shoemaker; her son-in-law George W. "Byrd" Carr; and her brothers, J. B. (Rachel Shoemaker) and Bill (Carol Shoemaker).
She is survived by: her children, Charles Roger Tomlinson (Chong) of Elgin, SC, Linda Carr and John Bill Tomlinson (Pam); her grandchildren, Violet Hadorn (Daniel), Linda Lee (David), Danny Tomlinson (Audrey), Adam Carr (Tanya) and Natalie Tomlinson; her great grandchildren, Angela, Carl, Travis Hadorn, Jaden, Kayla, Keira Lee, Elijah, Maddox, Esther Tomlinson, Luke, Khloe and Sam Carr; and her great great grandchild Lyra Smith. She is also survived by other extended family, her church family and friends.
