With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald D. Doan of Evarts, Kentucky, who passed away on March 6, 2024 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald D. Doan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his wife Anna Sue Winders Doan; his parents, William Bradley and Mildred Price Doan; and his brother Charles "Chalk" Doan. He is survived by : his daughter Renee Doan of Evarts; his granddaughters, Amber Caldwell Koch (Daniel) of Salyersville, KY and Autumn Caldwell of London, KY; his great grandchildren, Braxton Gerald Koch and Candon Jay Koch; and his siblings, Bonnie Thompson (John) of Lenoir City, TN, Connie Doan Helton of Harlan, Bill Doan (Shelia) of Coldiron and Tommy Doan of Cumberland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family also asks that donations be made to the Evarts High School Alumni and Scholarship Association P.O. Box 782 Evarts, KY 40828 in memory of Buster Doan.
