He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Fields and Myrtle Price Fields; his stepmother Mary Fields Trett; and his siblings, Patsy Ruth Bennett, Mike Fields and Reverend Woody Fields.
He is survived by: his brother James Fields (Cathy); his sister-in-law Tammy Fields; and his niece Lori Patterson (Harlan). He is also survived by nephews, other family and friends.
