He was predeceased by: his father Orville Howard, Sr.; and his siblings, Ila Bray, Shirley Howard, Jerry, Palmer and Doug Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Owens Howard; his children, Kenneth Howard, Jones Creek and Amy Aslinger (Robert); his brother Carlos Howard (Mae) of Sharps Chapel, TN.; his grandchildren, Jesse Howard, Cole Howard, Tiffany Jackson (Johnny), Zachary Aslinger (Merisa), Seth Aslinger (Deanna), Rylee-Jo Aslinger and Christian Aslinger; his great grandchildren, Aiden and Ashlynn Jackson; and his grandchildren, Emma, Joci, Aubrey and Knox Aslinger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was also very active with Camp Howard and enjoyed helping with their summer camp every year until COVID.
