She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Burkhart; her parents, Reverend Homer Jackson and Ruby Smith Jackson; and her siblings, Lois Jones and L. B. Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Burkhart of Jones Creek and Homer Burkhart of Jones Creek; her stepdaughter Rose Phillips Sheffield; her grandchildren, Brianna Turner, Sierra Maggard, Nathan Cloud and Cory Burkhart; her great grandchildren, Millie, Rosie Cloud, Olivia Turner, Bentley and Brooklyn Maggard; her stepgrandchildren, Drew and Bryan Townsend; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Leslie Townsend. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Turner Missionary Baptist Church (649 State Hwy 1601, Evarts, KY 40828). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
