It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sevilla Jean Howard Johnson of Evarts, Kentucky, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Howard and Susie Ella Middleton Howard; and her siblings, Debra Lynn Howard, Steffa "Cricket" Skidmore, Gail Blevins and Samuel "Spade" Howard.
She is survived by: her husband Randy Johnson; her children, Kyle Johnson (Holly) of Evarts and Kayla Johnson of Evarts; her siblings, Jowanna Howard of Jones Creek, Valerie Howard of Jones Creek and Jamie Howard (Jennifer) of Greenfield, IN.; her grandsons, Colby Johnson, Daven Johnson and Gabe Slusher; and her close friend Janie Scott. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Evarts Funeral Home (119 Bridge St, Evarts, KY 40828). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Resthaven Cemetery (3000 State Hwy 840, Keith, KY 40806).
