He is survived by : his wife Barbara Napier Cooper; his children, Steven Simpson (Danielle) and Terry Lee Cooper, Jr.; his siblings, William Cooper (Kim) of Jonesville, VA, Kevin Cooper and Lisa Fathergill; his grandchildren, Jayden Leann Simpson, Keaton Riley Simpson, Stevie Breann Simpson and Conner Michael Cooper; and his mother-in-law Loretta Middleton.
