He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Daniels and Mollie Daniels; and his siblings, Dexter Daniels, Eugene Daniels, Lariel Daniels and Anna Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Melissia Daniels; his children, Jerry Dean Daniels (Hope) of Versailles, KY, Thomas Davis of Ezel, KY, Sharlena Gill (Justin) of Cincinnati, OH and Beth Davis of Ezel, KY; his grandchildren, Haley Daniels, Kelli Daniels, Samantha Daniels, Alayna Brown, Natalie Daniels, Gavin Maney, Emory Gill and Evie Gill; and his sisters, Vonda Lou Howard of Salyersville, KY, Juanita Howard of Salyersville, KY, Avonelle Daniels of Salyersville, KY and Emma Howard of Mt. Sterling, KY. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Magoffin County Funeral Chapel (900 Parkway Dr, Salyersville, KY 41465).
