She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel "Sam" Mitchell Jr.; her parents, William Zoeller Sr. and Mary Davidson Zoeller; her siblings, Tommy Zoeller, Kenneth "Kenny" Zoeller, Mary Kay Parker, John Zoeller and Richard "Ricky" Zoeller; and her brother-in-law Bob Meredith.

She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Thomas (Kenny); her grandchildren, Brian Thomas (Priscilla) and Samantha Thomas; and her siblings, Joyce Meredith, William "Billy" Zoeller and Darlene Riggs (Dorsey).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Judy's name to the UofL Heart Hospital.
