We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Manley Maynard Jr. of Fairdale, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Alvetta Maynard; his daughters, Julie Garcia and Shelly Teachout; his parents, Elsie Maynard, and Manley Maynard, Sr.; and his siblings, Sara Lucas, Emmaline Marshall, Anne Lou Manns, Ezra, Calvin, Jake, Owen and Dennis Maynard.
He is survived by: his sons, Timmy Maynard (Sandy) and Joe Maynard (Cathy); his siblings, Shirley Manns, Edward Maynard, Jimmy Maynard (Bobbie), Billy Joe Maynard (Freddie) and Dave Maynard (Pat); his grandchildren, Michael Garcia, Jr., Stephen Garcia (Hannah), Corbin Maynard (April), Jordan Ferrel (Josh), Tiffany Chaplin (Don), Jaime Wojtowicz (Frank), Mark Stapleton (Marie) and Chad Stapleton (Hatti); and his son-in-law Michael Garcia, Sr.. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Schmid Funeral Home (9500 Hwy 44 E, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Brookland Cemetery.
