In loving memory of Vanessa Turner of Fairdale, Kentucky, who departed this world on December 5, 2025 at the age of 72. Vanessa leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Wilburn Hamlet and Pearl Hamlet (Glover); her children, Rosalynn Turner and Donald Turner (DJ); and her brothers, Oliver Jr., Henry and Jimmy Hamlet.
She is survived by: her husband Randy Burt; her daughter Tammy Smith-Yates; her grandchildren, Kendall Ensor, Matthew Turner, Dustin Turner, Eli Turner and Kaylee Smith-Yates; her sister Brenda Wahlberg; and her pets, Miss Silver and Serenity.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home-Shepherdsville (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
