With sadness, we share the passing of William Larkin Blair Jr. of Fairdale, Kentucky. William, born on February 19, 1947, passed away on September 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Blair Sr. and Nannie Rose Mattingly Blair; and his sister Margaret Johns. He is survived by: his wife Mary C. Blair; his sons, Todd Blair (Christy) and Steven Blair (Susannah); his grandchildren, Brandon, Christopher (Abbie), Katie and Matthew (Jenna); his great grandchild Caleb; and his sisters, Mary Lou Reece and Georgie Elzy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst Funeral & Cremation Services (411 Fairdale Rd, Fairdale, KY 40118). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Schoppenhorst Funeral Home (411 Fairdale Rd, Fairdale, KY 40118). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at the Mt Holly Cemetery (800 Mt Holly Rd, Fairdale, KY 40118).
