He was predeceased by: his former wife Carolyn Breeden Trent; his parents, Floyd Trent and Dorothy Trent; and his siblings, Doodle Trent, Butch Trent, Jim Trent, Betty Miles and Judy Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Mary LaVerne Naffziger; his children, Ronald Trent (Missy), Bryan "Boo" Trent (Karen) and Verneasa Hendricks (John) of Bloomfield; his grandchildren, Amanda Burba (Chad), Dustin Trent (Aaron Hughes), Dean Hendricks (Becky), Houston Hendricks (Maddie), Garrett Hendricks, Ryan "Bear" Trent (Courtney Jeffierys) and Daniel "Dee" Trent; his great grandchildren, Hannah Burba, Reese Trent, Hayden Hendricks, Keaton Hendricks, Lottie Hendricks, Kynlee Trent and Weylen Trent; and his sister Barbara Trent. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
