He is survived by: his wife Theresa Tackett Pennington; his sons, Burlie Ashley Pennington of Salyersville, Wiley Dwayne Pennington (Shawna) of Salyersville and Cleabern Ray Pennington of Salyersville; his siblings, Chester Pennington of Falcon, Tommy Pennington of Falcon, Edward Dean Pennington (Arlene) of Flat Gap, Clarence Pennington of Van Lear, Clotine Adams (Johnny) of Falcon, Avanell Litteral (Wayne) of Falcon, Gradie Marie Armstrong (James) of Falcon and Susie Salyer of Salyersville; and his grandchildren, Kaleb Ray Pennington, Annabella Paige Pennington and Austin Risner.
