Michael Chambers Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Chambers and Dorothy Gray Chambers; and his siblings, Patricia Malone, Peter Chambers and George Francis Chambers.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Bernadette "Bernie" Higdon Chambers; his stepdaughters, Melissa Branham, Valerie Mattingly and Kim Fulkerson; and his brother Richard Chambers. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Watkins Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42754). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (1654 KY-79, Hardinsburg, KY 40143).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society in his memory.
