He was predeceased by : his parents, Willard Lucas and Bertha Welch Lucas; his son William Lucas; and his sister Judy Lucas. He is survived by : his wife Patricia Price Lucas; his daughter Kathy Haubner; and his siblings, Billy, David, John, Gary Lucas, Catherine, Jane and Mabel Lucas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
