She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Dennis and Anna Swegman Dennis; and her husband Jerry Gilbert. She is survived by: her children, John Hatfield, Brenda Mathes and Laura Bollack; and her sister Margie Connor. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
