Joanna Sharp Layton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanna Sharp Layton (Falmouth, Kentucky), born in Pendleton County, Kentucky, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Sharp and Katherin Colvin Sharp. She is survived by : her husband Paul Robert Layton of Cedarville; her children, Paul Douglas Layton (Becky) of Ruskin, Robert Gregory Layton (Kathy) of Florence and Sharon Kathleen Stanfield (Kevin) of Erlanger, Kentucky.; and her siblings, Phillip Sharp (Ann) and Sandra Milburn (Bruce). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Woodhead Funeral Homes, Memorials & Cremation Service - Falmouth (310 W Shelby St, Falmouth, KY 41040). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Falmouth United Methodist Church General Fund, in honor of Joanna's memory.
