She was predeceased by: her parents, Carol Houchen and Nancy Stevens Houchen; and her sister Nancy Carol Houchen. She is survived by: her brother Steve Houchen (Cindy); her nieces, Erin Houchen and Paige Sherman (Brad); her great-nephews, Janzen and Jairus Wilder; and her pets, Izzy and Raisin.

Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Home (8340 US Hwy 27, Butler, KY 41006). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peoples Funeral Home-Butler (8340 US Hwy 27, Butler, KY 41006).
