She is survived by: her mother Thea Higgins (Fifi); her children, Devanté Higgins (Ashley), Darien Higgins and Kynnedy Higgins; her grandchildren, Amun Higgins, Shilo Higgins and Miles Higgins; her grandmother Ann Graves Higgins; her aunt Robbin Higgins (Aunt Robbie); and her father Robin Hampton. She is also survived by extended family, friends, students & co-workers.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity Southern Baptist Church (302 Broad St, Falmouth, KY 41040). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

Donations in her memory are suggested to the American Cancer Society: Pendleton County Relay for Life.
