Shirley Ann Bishop Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Bishop of Falmouth, Kentucky, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walter and Mildred Ghent Cobb Colvin; her husband Jesse "Jimmy" James Bishop; her children, Bobby "Bopper" Bishop and Kathy Jo Smith; and her brothers, James Cobb (late Norma), Charles Cobb (Carole), Ray Cobb (late Neva) and Rick Cobb (Brenda).
She is survived by: her siblings, Roger Cobb (Tammy), John Cobb (Brenda), Freddie Cobb (Peggy), Patricia Robin (Dennis) and Vickie Carr (Steve); her nephews, Kevin and Mike Bishop; and also, Eddie Bishop (Donna), Timmy Bishop, Johnny Bishop (Jackie) and Donna Askin (late Allen). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Home-Falmouth (407 W Shelby St, Falmouth, KY 41040). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah 100 French Street, Cold Spring, KY 41076.
