We bid farewell to Alice Nichols Elliott of Fancy Farm, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 17, 2025 at the age of 91. Alice Nichols touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Harrison Carrico and Ada Gertrude Elliott Carrico; her former husband Milburn Nichols; and her siblings, William James Carrico (Wilma), Thomas Charles Carrico (Ophelia), Rev. Joseph Albert Carrico (Leona), Rudolph Bernard Carrico (Polly) and Mary Elizabeth Willett (Joe).
She is survived by: her children, Bert Nichols (Jane) of Louisville, KY. and Doris Stone (Mike) of Kevil, KY.; her grandchildren, Haley Zoeller (Nathan), Carson Weber, Amy Lain (Joe), Matthew Milburn Nichols (Regan) and James Nichols; her great grandchildren, Margaret Grace Lain, Abigale Josephine Lain, Ryman Oliver Nichols and Lola Brook Zoeller; her stepgrandchildren, Sandy Stone, Greg Stone and Dewayne Stone (Emelia); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Owen Ruff, Lyla Ruff, Lucy Ruff, Hollis June Stone and Callen Stone. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church (20 KY-339, Fancy Farm, KY 42039). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
