He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Romey, Norma Jean Holmes, Clarence "Top" and Wilma Jean Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Adrian Ladd Holmes; his children, Adleigh Holmes Murphy (Mason) and Nate Holmes; his siblings, Taren Uhlman (Brandon), Kerrie Higgins and Matt Higgins; and his fathers, Bobby and Steve Cates (Marie).
