She was predeceased by : her husband Thomas "Bear" Clapp; her parents, John Elmo Duke and Hazel M. Shell; her daughters, Patricia Higgins and Cindy Miller; and her grandson Raymond Hester.
She is survived by : her son John Watkins (Vanita) of Mayfield, KY; her sisters, Bonita Cannon of McEwen, TN and Della Sellars (Willie) of Mayfield, KY; and her grandchildren, Bonnie Clymer (Joe), Devin Watkins (Amber), Nathan Watkins (Emily Pack) and Jerrod Hester (Kate).
