Lydia Hobbs Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2025, at the age of 91, Lydia Hobbs of Fancy Farm, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Delbert" Hobbs; her parents, Adolf Pendel (Maria) and Karolina Budczik Pendel; her grandmother Maria Pendel (Babceiu); her siblings, John Pendel, Christy Goatley and Eddie Pendel; and her granddaughter Ashley Beth Hobbs.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Monroe (Mark) of Mayfield, Susie Newhouse (David) of Wingo, Janie Miller (Gary) of Fancy Farm, Patrick Hobbs of Dallas, TX, Don Hobbs (Denise) of Mayfield, Tracy Seary of Huntsville and Mark Hobbs (Missy) of Fancy Farm; and her siblings, Laddie Pendel (Linda) of St. Charles, MO, Leo Pendel (Jeanette) of Fancy Farm and Pam Harrison (Ronnie) of Murray, KY. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church (20 KY-339, Fancy Farm, KY 42039). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
