He was predeceased by: his wife Leta Rose Gregory; his son Larry Shayne Gregory; his siblings, Vernie Jr., Kenneth, Jessie Chapman, Joyce Weed, Faye Adair and Doyce Latham; and his parents, Vernie Gregory and Gay Crider Gregory.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Mihal (Mark) of St. Louis, MO, Kimberly Barrett (Tim) of Murray, KY and Meghan Gargus (Mike) of Sedalia, KY; his grandchildren, Clay Yarbrough, Hunter Nall, Rachel Fincher, Marlee Barrett, Seth Feagin, Beau Barrett, Jason Mihal and Lexie Feagin; and his great grandchildren, Hawkins Nall, Shiloh Nall and Daphne Nall.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Byrn Funeral Home (1020 Paris Rd, Mayfield, KY 42066). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
