Wanda leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Wanda’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Wanda will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin P. Hunt and Betty Jane Paynter Hunt; and her brothers, Leroy Hunt, Johnny Mac Hunt, Kenneth Ray Hunt and Harold Gene Hunt.
She is survived by: her daughter Misty Dawn Hunt; her siblings, David Hunt of Pikeville and Mary Ellen Garrett of Salisbury, NC; and her granddaughters, Alyssa Baker and Krista Baker. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Biggs Church of God. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
