He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Spaw and Minnie Helton Spaw; his brothers, O'neil Spaw and Russell Spaw; his nephew Timmy Poynter; and his parent-in-law Perk Beasley (Tina).
He is survived by: his significant other Jeannie Beasley Spaw of Ferguson; his son Ritchie Spaw (Melissa) of Somerset; his grandchildren, Chase, Braydyn (Lloyd), Lofton, Kira, Marina, Kru and Cooper Cochran; his sisters, Margaret Muncey of Kentland, IN, Francis Norfleet of Bradley, IL and Janice Godby (Wayne) of Somerset; his sister-in-law Jerry Sue Copenhaver (Jim Helton) of Ferguson; and his nieces and nephews, Sherri Poynter (Tim), Bradney Poynter and Chris Copenhaver (Cindy).
